  1. In Mecklenburg County, residents will be voting on a $2.5 billion bond referendum for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools on November 7, 2023.
  2. Voters in Phoenix and Mesa are expected to vote on bond issues worth $475 million and $500 million respectively, aimed at enhancing student safety in two of the Valley’s largest school districts.
  3. Ector and Midland counties in Texas have school districts seeking voter approval for bonds that would cumulatively amount to $1.9 billion. This fund is intended for repairing schools in these regions.
  4. Katy Independent School District (ISD) trustees have placed an $840.6 million bond package on the November ballot, which is noted to be the largest bond package in the history of this Houston-area school district. The bond is aimed at funding new schools.
  5. Conroe ISD in Texas has proposed a $1.9 billion bond package which includes the construction of eight new schools, building renovations, additional buses, and new technology. Early voting for this bond is set to commence on October 23, ahead of the November 7 election.

These bond votes reflect a broader trend of communities investing in educational infrastructure to accommodate growing student populations and to modernize existing facilities.
